I wanted to say that I love the LiveChat system, because there have been many times (and I don’t know why) for some reason, when I change my cPanel password, sometimes the system screws up and I have to contact tech support to get the password problem straightened out. I just like being able to get assistance and back to work within a few minutes, and not having to wait on hold for 30+ minutes to talk to a human (I’ve never used the phone support ever, simply because the LiveChat system has been able to take care of any of my problems so far). The tech support staff is very knowledgeable about the products and the servers….

First of all, sorry for the long thread and my bad english. I have a reseller account at Hostgator since beginning of 2006 and since then I have had no major problems and, in the few cases where I had some issue, it got solved very fast. But now I’m really pissed off.

I decided to post my problems here to see if someone could help me before cancelling my service with HG. . I think his company has great plans/prices, but I can’t keep this service if I continue having problems. Basically,, I upgraded from a “BABY” plan to a VPS plan(level 3). The reason why I upgraded was b/c of a shopping that I will be implement (Magento).

Here is another email web hosting FAQ

An old Wordpress install on one of my sites got exploited and over-wrote my .htacess and caused google to report my sites as ‘this site can harm your computer’ HG went out of their way and did lot of work to fix all the problems. I have experiences with other webhosts before HG, who I know will not do this. Thank you (especially Michael Karr, Benjamin Davis, Christopher D.)
